Course Overview

As Building Information Modeling (BIM) is adopted by more and more companies in the construction industry, its usefulness has expanded beyond the original design phase activities. The industry is in its major stage of BIM transition, hence requires skilled man power in their BIM oriented workflow in every discipline.

Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis & Autodesk Navisworks are essential parts of BIM workflow, for structural design and clash detection of the digital prototype.
Training on Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis enable students to accomplish theoretical and application knowledge on Structural analysis and Design of various structures including Frames, Truss, Building and FEM/FEA for concrete and steel structures.
The structural analysis software offers a smoother workflow and interoperability with Autodesk Revit® Structure software to extend the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process, enabling engineers to more quickly perform comprehensive simulation and analysis of a variety of structures.

Training on Autodesk Navisworks Manage, a project review software; allows students to open and combine 3D models, navigate around them in real-time and review the model using a set of tools including comments, redlining, viewpoint, and measurements.

The Autodesk Navisworks Manage training course instructs students in best approaches to combine 3D geometry from cross disciplines into one scene to enable effective model reviews. Using the functionality of the Autodesk Navisworks Simulate, and Manage features, students learn how to open, review, quantify, and run object-interference checks on 3D models. Students also learn how to link to task-scheduling files and create 4D construction simulations.

The course is focused more on hands-on training.
